Sunglasses designed under the Northern Star.
In the mid eighties when Mr Lindberg, founder and owner of TRIPLE X, presented his idea to sell sunglasses in Sweden he was considered to be a bit of a gambler. That Sweden has one of the longest and darkest winter didn´t scare Mr Lindberg. He was determined to change the sunglass market and to make sunglasses a true fashion accessory.
Initially most people thought that Triple X was an Italian or French company, mainly because of the international image the design and the name indicated. Today Mr Lindberg is proud of the fact that Triple X stands for Swedish quality and good looks.
Since 1986 Triple X has grown extensively, and in 1989 the Triple X Optical series were launched and the total Triple X collection of today includes both opthalmic frames and sunglasses.
